Michael Rosenblatt

Michael Rosenblatt, MD, is a General Surgeon and Surgical Intensivist in the Departments of General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care for Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA. He is also Director of the Trauma Service and Vice-Chair, Division of Surgery. He is Co-Director of the Human Patient Simulator Laboratory at Lahey Clinic. He currently plays a major role in implementing HRO into the organization for Lahey Clinic. Other activities include serving for four years as an Examiner and Senior Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award Program administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce and serving as the Chair of the Massachusetts American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. He received his BA in Biology/Psychology from Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT) in 1980 and his MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1984. Between 1984 and 1992, he completed a residency in general surgery in the Boston University Affiliated Surgical Residency Program at University and Boston City Hospitals, a Surgical Research Fellowship at the New England Deaconess Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Boston Medical Center. He received an MPH in 1989 and an MBA in 1987, both from Boston University.
