Randy Paige

Randy Paige is a KCBS Investigative News Reporter highly respected by local firefighters and paramedics. He received the 2000 Alfred I DuPont Columbia University Silver Baton award (considered to be the broadcast equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize), named the 2001 Reporter of the Year by Los Angeles Press Club and received Emmies for his environmental, feature and investigative reporting. His awards also include a Gold Medal of Honor as Reporter of the Year from the New York Film Festival, RTNDA-Best News Documentary; AP Bill Stout Memorial Award for Enterprise Reporting; Three Golden Mikes from the Radio and Television News Association; Associated Press 1999 Best Spot News. Paige’s BA in Criminology and Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MS in Mass Communications from California State University, San Jose.
