Ronald D. Stewart
Ronald D. Stewart, OC, MD, FRCPC, DSc, is Director of Medical Humanities, and Professor of Emergency Medicine and Anesthesia, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. He founded the National Association of EMS Physicians which developed the Ron Stewart Award for contributors for the advancement of EMS. He has served as Minister of Health for Nova Scotia. Bachelor’s degree? He received his M.D. from University of Dalhousie, Nova Scotia, Canada. His Residency in Emergency Medicine was at University of Southern California.
